Creative Direction, 2006 to 2007

How do you take 12-departments-worth of content for boys and girls six- to 12-years-old from a walled garden and redesign it for the Web? I needed a shiny, talented team of five designers, an art director, an information architect, and a content strategist, all who were ready and raring for the task of creating over 100 unique designs. This was one of the largest design projects in Blast Radius’ history and it’s still a project I’m proud of. We created a ubiquitous wrapper and navigation that could then be re-skinned for each department and its target segment. Within the wrapper, content could vary greatly by structure and design. Elegant. Effective. Fun.
